In " The Last Virgin" Ally's puritanical classmate, Kimmy, is back, this time claiming she was fired for being a prude and she needs Ally and John to defend her. She hires Larry as her lawyer but becomes irrational upon learning that he's married, and then becomes even more irrational when she sees him dating Nelle. In " Without a Net" Ally is dating a father and son, and then gets herself sued by a puritanical classmate over fallacious snide remarks. At the end of the episode Larry comes to find her and its revealed that whilst Ally assumed that he was a therapist he is actually a lawyer like her. The two banter back and forth, talking about the promblems Ally is having with her boyfriend, with Ally returning to the office multiple times. Larry first appears in the first episode of the fourth season when Ally goes to her therapists office only to find that she's moved away and the office is now being used by Larry.
